Vet Med Trail Pack's equine trail medical kit is both comprehensive and light-weight. The equine first aid components of the medical kit were put together based on guidance from Search and Rescue Mounted teams, as well as veterinarians. The equine trail medical kit has been designed to balance the need for immediate horse or mule medical care with the portability qualities of being light-weight, durable, and packable. Each item in this kit was included for its multiple uses and light-weight capacity. The pack itself is a water-resistant, highly durable, light-weight, and reinforced pack with a commercial grade zipper that can be attached as a cantle bag via grommets or placed into a larger saddle bag for rescue or camping use. The packs are large enough to accommodate several additional items including medications provided through prescription with your treating veterinarian or other items available through our website. This kit can also be used as a small barn emergency kit for home injuries. Kit Weight: 1.3 lbs.
