Vet Med Trail Pack's back country food storage kit is designed to provide a simple means to store and secure food items in the back country.  This kit provides all items necessary to throw lines, package and store foods, and elevate food items out of reach of wildlife.  This design also complies with "leave no trace" tree savers to prevent shafing and girdling of trees and vegetation when properly used.  Items selected for this pack are light-weight and stored conveniently in a light-weight and durable water-resistant pack made to fit well in saddle bags, back packs, and stock packs.  This can also be used with vehicular camping to prevent damage by bear intrusion into the vehicles. Pack Weight: 1.3 lbs.
